You've seen the commercials that give you a thirty second look at everything the Apple iPhone can do. If you need to slow it down a little, here are some examples of why people have taken to the iPhone with such enthusiasm.

You can do all sorts of stuff with this unit. There is voice conferencing, easy web browsing, automatic fadeout when you receive a call, and a bunch of multimedia applications. Oh, and the sound quality on the phone is pretty good, as well. Even the speakerphone works great.

Sorting through your stored media is easier than ever. You can do quick searches using the name of an artist, a title, or any other factor that is clearly delineated as a description for the file. You can organize the data by genre, create playlists, or even a good old fashioned alphabetized listing if you like. It is all up to you.

Browsing the Internet is no problem at all. In fact, you may want to use your iPhone for quick lookups rather than firing up the laptop or desktop computer. Just as with the music fade feature, the display screen will fade to reveal controls so you can answer incoming calls. Getting back to the Internet page is also easy to accomplish once you are done with the call.

Not many people have found fault with the iPhone. In general, it is hailed as one of the best innovations in voice and data communications in the past five years. If you are in the mood for a new unit, the iPhone may have several features that will make your life a lot easier.

Pros

- Music fade when inbound call rings is a great feature
- Both voicemail and reading email have never been easier
- Paging capability is quick and easy
- Organizing data is super easy

Cons

- Voice dialing is not currently available
- No 3G capability
- Battery is nonremovable

Overall

An excellent unit for both personal and business use, the Apple iPhone has already carved out a nice niche for itself. You can expect to see further enhancements over the next year or two.About Author:Miranda Larrison is the author of articles such as Apple iPhone, Other Cell Phone Reviews, and Cell Phone Reviews.
