The 7 great lies of network marketing was authored by Ann Sieg. As the name suggests, it talks about the lies prevalent in the network marketing industry.

Needless to say, it created a huge controversy the time it released as thousands of people after downloading and reading it, started passing it on to their friends.

So what made this book strike a chord with the masses?

In order to get an answer, we need to take a serious look at the concept of network marketing and the direction in which its going.

There is no doubt that network marketing is a realization of a brilliant concept wherein
average people get a fair and square chance to create an income that would enable them to live a life of their dreams.

However there are literally thousands upon thousands of people who desperately wish to create a lifestyle of their choice through network marketing yet are unable to do so.

In fact, most network marketers seem to have no clue as to

1. how to find interested people for their business
2. how to recruit without resorting to embarrassing pressure tactics
3. how to create real duplication, etc

Even though network marketing creates lots of millionaires, there is an inherent frustration among people as most aren't able to make this thing work. The pent up frustration is quite evident.

This aspect has been addressed in a remarkable fashion by Ann Sieg in her 7 great lies of network marketing book.

Ann Sieg in her book talks about things which a lot of people have intuitively felt for a long time which is precisely why this book ended up striking a chord with the masses. This resulted in it becoming massive popular due to the viral nature of the internet.

You may be wondering what could have Ann Sieg written about network marketing that would have caused such a big flutter.

Ann Sieg compiled a list of 7 lies (actually bad practices) that are prevalent in the network marketing industry and explained about the implications of each and every one of them in her book.

Written in a simple and no nonsense manner, it ended up educating people on what is really wrong with network marketing.

Ann Sieg talks about a lot of aspects in her book but if I were to sum up everything into one issue, then this would be the thing:

Network marketing is being pursued by people who have no clue as to how to market their products.

This is the core issue.

Lack of marketing knowledge prevents people to find prospects for their business. It prevents them to get in front of people who might be actually interested in what they have to offer. It prevents them to create a rejection free sales process.

This is exactly what an overwhelming majority of network marketers face. They lack the knowledge on how to build a solid and profitable business using proper marketing strategies.

What Ann Sieg does is weave various concepts together in order to create something that is entertaining, educational and enlightening. The result is the 7 great lies of network marketing book.

If you are serious about your network marketing business, then do give the book a read. You will not be disappointed.
